This is no joke. It is in no way a scam either.
First item for raffle:
I will be completely honest with everyone. You can contact us to verify any information if it pleases you.
Before you judge that this is not valid offer, read on for the whole story.
We have a house we are willing to give away in a raffle. It is a 5 bedroom, 3 bathroom house, approximately 3500 sq feet
on 1.5 acre lot. The address is 32941 Nature Rd, Foley, MN 56329. Though it is actually in a very small town called Morrill
about 14 miles north of Foley. It's quiet and scenic. Directions will follow, otherwise use Mapquest to get them.
Proceeds for Education:
As I said, I will not lie and have nothing to hide.
There are local schools (and I'm sure schools across the country are suffering the same predicament) that are being forced
to fire teachers (making class sizes too large for proper education); cut out ALL (not some) activities that give the children
things to do, such as sports and academic activities that help improve them socially, physically, and mentally; and are in
danger of being shut down altogether.
This is a serious situation, and since the government only makes things worse by raising taxes and following their own
self interests (instead of re-arranging the system to improve and prioritize where the tax money goes), we decided that we
can try to help. Taking the situation into our own hands to do what we can do, as it were.
So a large portion (20%) of the funds raised for anything raffled will go to the schools.
We are hoping to turn this into a continuing venture that will bring in more money in the future for education.

More about the house:
The first item being raffled is no small treasure. But I cannot lie, it does need some TLC. At last appraisal (about 2 years
ago) it was appraised for $215,000. The septic is only 3 years old.
The house is considered commercial property. It was built in the 1940's as a home/store. In 1989 there were 3 underground
storage tanks and three gas pumps put in and was ran as a gas station/convenience store. The pumps have been removed, but
the tanks are still there. And in 1993 there was a large addition built on in the back of the house.
The winner of this establishment will be gifted $10,000 of the proceeds to either set up the business once again and remodel,
or to have the tanks removed. Winners choice.
There is one existing outbuilding that will need to be removed. It is in rough shape. A single car garage that is more
of a large shed, which is also in so-so shape.
A large deck wraps around from the back to the east side of the house.

Once payment is received, it will take approximately 24 hours to process and send your raffle ticket. Please be patient.
